‘I do.’ – Getting married at the Hotel Alpenstern in Damüls

Your best day ever. In the mountains. In good hands.

Damüls lies at an altitude of 1,580 metres. The air is clearer up here. The mountains stand still. And sometimes – when the light is just right and the guests are seated at their tables – something happens for which there is no better word than: unforgettable.

The Hotel Alpenstern is a wedding venue in the Bregenzerwald that has it all: a special setting, excellent cuisine, experienced hosts and rooms for the bride and groom and all their guests right on the premises. No compromises. With attention to detail.

The wedding ceremony

just as you imagine it

A non-religious wedding ceremony on the roof terrace

The Alpenstern’s roof terrace offers unobstructed views over Damüls. Panoramic mountain views in every direction, with nothing to block the sky. The perfect venue for an open-air wedding ceremony – unique, personal and unforgettable.

A non-religious wedding ceremony at Stofel Chapel

Nestled in the heart of the Damüls mountains, far from roads and noise: the Stofel Chapel, at an altitude of 1,680 metres, is one of those places where you can understand why couples from all over Austria and Switzerland come to Damüls to get married.

Church wedding – St Nicholas Parish Church

If you’d like to have a church wedding, you don’t have to go far: the parish church of St Nicholas in Damüls is within walking distance of the hotel. It can accommodate up to 120 people and offers an alpine atmosphere and the tranquillity that comes with a church in the mountains.

Your wedding menu

For your special day, the kitchen at the Genusshalde restaurant – awarded 2 Gault Millau toques – is at your disposal. Together with Head Chef Sandro Abel, we will create your personalised menu: tailored to your preferences, the season and the region.

Whether it’s a 3-course menu (from €47 per person) or the grand 5-course experience (from €73 per person) – every course is carefully composed and prepared using fresh, regional ingredients. And if you’d like, Maximilian Steinfeld, Vorarlberg’s Best Sommelier, can put together the perfect wine pairing for you.

On request, Max will conduct a personalised blind tasting with you – which can happily be combined with the tasting menu.

Accommodation
everything under one roof

What sets the Alpenstern apart from other wedding venues is that your guests don’t have to travel anywhere after the celebrations. All the rooms and suites are located right here in the hotel. The bride and groom wake up the next morning to mountain views, a breakfast buffet and the peace and quiet that’s just what’s needed after an evening like that.
