With a focus on France, Austria, Germany and Italy, over 35,000 bottles are stored here. Over 2,500 items can be found on the white and red wine list. From easy-drinking top all-rounders to true rarities, everything is included. Read up on them or simply ask Max or Corina for advice. They always know which wine will suit you and your food.
Since 2011, Max's great passion has been wine. With a particular fondness for Riesling, Chardonnay and mature Smaragde wines, he has a keen sense for the exceptional and has expanded the wide selection for guests at the Alpenstern. This does not include mass-produced wines, but rather wines where you can taste the differences between the vintages. Max' knows that not every wine meets every taste, so a varied repertoire is all the more important to him. And the wine cellar is really something to be proud of.
